Merlot and daughters

Species: African Pygmy Dormice
Group: 3, female
Arrived: 10 May 2012

Successfully rehomed

A mum and her daughter came to us in October 2012 after their owner realised they were not having the care they needed. Some bullying had occured in their group which meant they were missing part of the end of their tails and were undersized. Sadly the mum, Merlot died before her home was finalised and so I paired up the rescue girl with two of my girls and they went as a group together — as African Pygmy Dormice should not be kept alone.

These girls are being throughly spoilt with a large vivarium, and some fake plants that they take great delight in destroying!
