Sanctuary - Crittery Resident

Ruffle and Twist are two young multimammate mice who were handed into us after they were mistakenly sold by a pet shop as suitable for kids. Whilst you'll get some exceptions, multis aren't a good pet for kids. Unless bred well, they are quite nippy and they are fantastic at chewing out of plastic cages! In the right home, they can be lovely. They are very active and clever mice and make good companions for lonely male fancy mice as they cannot interbreed.

These two girls are rather nervous, and Ruffle does nip. With patience and regular handling they can make lovely pets. These girls are currently keeping a lonely male mouse company here at Crittery.
